Hey welcome to the next episode of Trekcast the Star Trek podcast where we your team of geeks brings all of the latest and greatest Trek knowledge to your lobes and we know your going to love it.

This week on Trekcast we are taking a break from all the greatness that is Star Trek Online, well not really, have we mentioned how great this game, and we are just going to do a little Tykens Rifting and talk about all the fun stuff we have been seeing in the Trek world. So we start rifting about what in the world are we going to call our Fleet on STO? As well as this really cool promotion from Del Taco (Beam up to Macho). Also some of our thoughts about Star Trek 2 or is it 12 (What do you think)? We also talk a little more about Red Letter Media love them or hate them these guys do some great reviews of our beloved franchises.

Happy belated New Year from all of us here at Trekcast, and welcome to episode 55 Star Trek: Avatar. So this being a new year and a new decade for that matter we decided to take some time and and ponder the future of Star Trek and that future is Star Trek Online we are definitely excited about this gamer from Cryptic and Atari. The crew will be signing up for the open beta soon and look to this site for the servers we will be on hope some of you will join us so we can explore the galaxy or crush it under our Klingon thumbs.

We also devote some time to that little James Cameron film, maybe you have heard of it’s called Avatar (I kid!). Also in true Trekcast tradition we answer your and delve into all your thought on Star Trek in Subspace Signals which is by the way one of our favorite segments on the show. So of course you have probably noticed that we have combined the supplemental and the regular episodes into one super sized episode of Trekcast and now we are getting back to doing the Subspace Signals (emails) more regularly so enjoy our answers to your thoughts and questions. Then Saturday was just a mellow night (yeah right) there was a Warp Core Breach party up in the suites. And on the final night a Star Trek The Experience reunion which was an amazing night for all us ex cast members.

Thanks to everyone who showed up to all of our events we had a blast so enjoy this wild ride that we are about to take you on and just remember that copious amounts of Romulan Ale were had by all this week and we all know what effect Romulan Ale has on us humans.
